Nesting..

SNOW is in the forecast...

Are you ready?

 I wish it wouldn't start snowing quite yet

However, I'm bound and determined to be prepared...(ha I think I still need some snow boots)

When  weather starts to turn (colder) I, start to hibernate, like a bear.

or as my old roommate, Cecilia termed it I begin Nesting..

Kid-Tastic

Since before I can remember my life has been filled with characters...None of whom are my own :) It started with my brothers (younger) then I became a nanny,  my "God children" (aka niece and nephew),  and now all of my friends have kids the kids.

Already 3 days of my vacation have flown by...

I've known Anna (above) and her family for quite a few years. This weekend I had the opportunity to watch her race in her first State Cross Country Meet! It was blast cheering for her! Way to go Anna, not only are you an awesome runner but you have become a very sweet young lady as well!

 

All in all it was a great weekend..

Now it's time to tackle the rest of my list of fun things to do this week!

Stay Cation

This week my "faux" kiddos are taking a much needed vacation with their Mommy and Daddy!

Which means this nanny is on vacation, for 10 whole days!

{fALL}ing into Style

Cooler fall weather= Sweaters, Leggings and boots...

After a look into my closet I find I need to addwardrobe. Can you believe this girl has never owned a pair of riding boots (or rain boots for that matter)?!?

Yikes! After spending hours on Pinterest, I found lots of new wardrobe ideas!

I am just in love with stripes and the sweater is me to a T!

I discovered that I actually owned a top and sweater similiar! While I love the boots from Pinterest, they were just a bit out of my price range.  I did find a super cute pair though from Payless for half the price!!

Deciding to save even a little more mu-laah I changed up my Pinterest outfit with a pair of grey leggings (found in my drawere) like these:

My lovely fall outfit is complete and at half the price! 

Now I can afford to splurge on Fall hair like this..
